Counseling Center

Clinical services at the Counseling Center are free for UNI students who are enrolled and have paid the Mandatory Health Fee. Any enrolled student can come to the Counseling Center for an initial assessment or a consultation, and clinical recommendations will be provided.

The short-term model of college counseling may not be a good fit for all students who come to the Counseling Center. Some students’ needs require a higher level of care than we are able to provide at our setting. We may refer those students to appropriate care in the community. Student will be assisted with the referral process.

Counselor-on-call services are offered to students, faculty, staff and parents.
